Clinical training lies at the heart of naturopathic medical education. Working with patients under the guidance of naturopathic physicians and other medical providers is the process that transforms students into doctors; where they develop the skill of integrating classroom knowledge with patient care. Essential to this process is a strong curriculum, an experienced faculty, and a clinic that provides an environment conducive to learning and healing. The College is committed to excellence in clinical education and prides itself in its innovative curriculum and dedicated faculty. With plans for a new clinic, the College aims to create a facility that will enhance clinical education and patient care.
|"The whole experience at this clinic which includes such kindness, compassion and understanding has made this an absolute necessity in the lives of today’s population."

Commitment to Quality Healthcare
The development of the new state-of-the-art Center for Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport represents a commitment by the University to the delivery of affordable and high-quality holistic healthcare for Greater Bridgeport Area residents and underserved populations throughout the region. The Center for Naturopathic Medicine will train the best and brightest healthcare professionals of the future in a modern, professional, comfortable and healing setting, further supporting and strengthening the naturopathic medical approach, so desperately needed in the northeast.
The Center for Naturopathic Medicine will be housed on the 7th floor of the Health Sciences Center, the home of the UB Clinics composed of the teaching clinics of the University’s College of Naturopathic Medicine, College of Chiropractic, Acupuncture Institute, and Fones School of Dental Hygiene. The UB Clinics treat approximately 20,000 patients annually, many of whom would not have access and could not otherwise afford these services from private professionals.
