University of Bridgeport Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha awarded chapter activity grant for upcoming colloquium

The University of Bridgeport Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, has been awarded a Chapter Activity Grant in the sum of $1200 for a colloquium on the topic “Human Trafficking: What it is and What to do about it.” This is the eighth consecutive year that the UB Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha has had its proposal accepted.

The colloquium will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014, during International Festival Week, in the Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. duPont III Tower Room at 6 p.m. followed by a reception in the Schelfhaudt Gallery. Confirmed speakers to date are Dr. Angela Duger, Research Associate at Harvard University School of Public Health, and Dr. Melissa Labonte, Associate Professor of Political Science at Fordham University.
