Screening of "Free At Last"  

On Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00 P.M. in the Student Center Social Room, there will be an encore screening of the 1968 documentary "Free At Last". The film follows Dr. King during his 1968 Poor People's Campaign leading up to the final days of his life. The filmmaker, James Desmond, will be joining us for the screening and will also be answering questions on both the film and his time with Dr. King after the screening.

International Festival Application  

If you are interested in submitting an application to perform in the International Festival on Saturday April 11, 2015, please submit your application form using the link below.  We are looking for all forms of talent and expressions of culture.  For more information, you should attend one information session on February 25th/26th at 12:00pm in the Discovery Pavillion.

Wounded Warrior Benefit

Come support our Purple Knights in another conference doubleheader!  The UB Purple Knights will be playing against the Dowling Golden Lions. Women's basketball will play at 5:00 P.M. and men's basketball will be at 7:00 P.M in the Hubbell Gym.  There will be giveaways.  Proceeds are to support the Wounded Warrior Project.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut

The Girl Scouts of Connecticut are in need of volunteers willing to help with their Cookie Delivery for the 2015 Cookie Season on Saturday, February 28 in various locations across Connecticut, specifically Danbury, Norwalk and Bridgeport. Students are asked to help load, count and assist local troop leaders complete their girls' cookie sale journey for this year. 12:15 – 1:30 P.M. Join the Wellness Club for some Yoga in the Commuter Lounge

5:00 P.M. Come out to support the Women’s Basketball Team vs. Dowling at Hubbell Gym!  All proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Join the Trefz School of Business Executive Speaker Series in Mandeville Room 104 and learn from Juanita T. James the president and CEO of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. Ms. James will be discussing, “Changing Business Career Sectors, Successfully”. The first half hour will be networking with wine and refreshments in the lobby of Mandeville Hall.

7:00 P.M. Come out to support the Men’s Basketball Team vs. Dowling at Hubbell Gym!   All proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

8:30 – 10:30 P.M. Learn about the Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. at their Informational in the Private Dining Room.

12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Gain awareness of eating disorders and education from the Counseling table in the Library Lobby.

3:00 – 4:00 P.M. Come celebrate Black History Month by joining the Student Programing Board in the Student Center lobby for some free soul food.

6:00 – 8:30 P.M. Join W.E.A.C.T. to purchase and combine scented oil to create an air freshener in the Private Dining Room.

4:30 – 8:30 P.M. The Black Student Alliance will be hosting their 4th annual Talent and Fashion Show in honor of Black History Month in the Social Room.
