Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters at UB’s 104th Commencement on Saturday, May 10, followed by Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman who was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters on Monday, May 12. Nearly 1,400 graduates received 719 undergraduate and 656 graduate degrees during UB’s 104th Commencement on May 10th, with Gov. Malloy delivering the Commencement Address. A separate Commencement ceremony for 228 Health Sciences majors was held on Monday, May 12, when Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, a former X-ray technician who is now chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange, delivered the Health Sciences Commencement Address.
