The free lecture is open to the public and begins at 12:15 p.m. at the Schelfhaudt Gallery, located in the Arnold Bernhard Center, 84 Iranistan Avenue. It concludes at 1:30 with a question-and-answer session.

Beverages will be provided.

A member of Bloomberg Briefs economics team, Yamarone has more than two decades of experience and focuses on monetary and fiscal policy, economic indicators, fixed income, commodities, and general macroeconomic conditions for Bloomberg’s “Economics,” a daily newsletter that features analysis, data and news on the forces shaping the global economy. Yamarone and the Bloomberg Briefs economics team provide in-depth analysis of macroeconomic data, policy and trends and how they will impact financial markets.

Yamarone forecasts U.S. economic statistics and trends, builds macroeconometric models, and analyzes possible outcomes. He is the creator of the Bloomberg Orange Book — a compilation of macroeconomic anecdotes gleaned from comments CEOs and CFOs made on quarterly earnings conference calls.

"We are excited to have Mr. Yamarone speak as part of our ongoing efforts to bring the practical side of the business world to our students,” sais School of Business Dean Lloyd Gibson.
