Bridgeport’s Brightest Program: Empowering Local Graduates

Access to affordable higher education can be a game changer — not just for individuals but for entire communities. The Bridgeport’s Brightest program is an initiative designed to have a direct impact on our Bridgeport community, making college more accessible and affordable for Bridgeport public high school graduates.

By participating in this program, UB commits to you paying $7,000 in tuition if you are a commuter student or $12,500 for tuition, room and board if you are living on-campus per year.1 Students who take advantage of this program are still eligible for additional grants and scholarships, clearing a path to a UB education for students in our local community.

We are deeply committed to investing in our local community and fostering the next generation of life-long learners. Through this program, we aim to provide more students with the resources and support they need to pursue higher education. This is not just an investment in individual futures but also in the future of our community as a whole.

How it works
