The mission of the Technology Commercialization Group (TCG) is to facilitate the transformation of UB and UB partners’ discoveries into products and services that benefit society and contribute to the growth of our local economy.

The Office is the first stop for inventors looking to advance their ideas. The TCG helps manage intellectual property created at UB.

The Tech Transfer office offers the following services:

• Guidance on intellectual property protection
• Invention evaluation
• Licensing assistance
• Mentoring and coaching on tech transfer and commercialization services
