Education Minor Courses
The Education minor consists of undergraduate electives designed to help prepare candidates meet the teacher certification prerequisites in their undergraduate years, as well as provide them with practicum experiences in K-12 schools.

Plans of Study
- Fulfills all requirements for a BS General Studies: Humanities or Social Science
- Fulfills all requirements for a Minor in Education
- Can be combined with a Master of Science in Secondary Education to meet all requirements for certification in Social Studies/History Education (7-12). Candidates will complete the MS Ed in 1 year (3 semesters), plus an additional semester of Student Teaching for certification.
- Eligible students may qualify for a tuition-paid internship at the Masters level in Teacher Preparation. Students work for a school district for 10 months and the school district pays for their 33 credit MS.ED degree (not including student fees or resident student teaching semester).
