Electrical Engineering Master’s Program Outcomes

Students in the MS Electrical Engineering Program will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the ability to use techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice
  2. Demonstrate the ability to plan and conduct laboratory experiments and interpret and report results
  3. Demonstrate the ability to identify and apply concepts of engineering economics and project planning
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary global and societal issues and their relationship
  5. Exercise strong oral and written communication skills including those needed for technical writing

Career outcomes

We have placed graduates in traditional careers (for example, electronics designer, information technology troubleshooter, forensic lab analyst, and others) and in non-traditional careers (government procedural analyst). Our program of study is designed with several important features.
