Associate Degree in Nursing Requirements

how to get into an ADN program Start my Application

What is the RN admissions process?

Our RN program is a selective admission program — meaning you can apply to the program only after you complete all the prerequisite coursework. Once you apply and are accepted into the program, you will then begin working toward earning your associate degree in Nursing.

As a Nursing student, you’ll explore current healthcare trends while preparing for your licensing exam. As you dive deeper into your core Nursing coursework, you’ll begin to prepare for the transition into your professional nursing practice.

Once you complete your coursework, you will need to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to become a licensed RN.

Admission requirements

These admission requirements pertain to students applying for the associate degree in Nursing program.

Only students accepted into the RN program may enroll in core Nursing courses. Due to the competitive nature of this program, there are a limited number of spots available each enrollment cycle. We strongly encourage you to submit your materials as soon as possible to secure your place in your desired cohort.

Consideration for admission is based on completion of Nursing prerequisites. Prerequisites must be completed before enrolling in Nursing 101 - Foundations of Nursing Practice. Selection is based on a Selection Point System.
